“We would have no hesitation in recommending Jennifer and her team and admire her work ethic and presentation.”
Aglime of Australia is one of the largest suppliers of Agricultural lime in Western Australia.
We are constantly searching for ideas in regard to marketing and a point of difference for supporting those that support us within our business and clientele.
In 2015 as part of our preparation for the Agricultural field day season we looked at various ideas for our stand at the Dowerin Machinery Field Day which is held in late August each year and hosts 500 exhibitors and up to 50,000 visitors to the two-day event.
We needed to do something unique which drew a crowd and got attention for our exhibit at the machinery dominant display – something that would really stand out and have a WOW factor.
We contacted Jennifer from Sculpting Sand and explained all the themes, ideas and images we thought could work in the display.
A few options were presented with different budgets and themes in mind. She clearly explained the process of how to make a sand sculpture and we worked together to make our stall stand out.
The sculptor who was sent to our job was friendly and efficient and even carved our logo into a agricultural looking sand castle.
The sand sculpture was more then we could have imagined and we won first prize for our stall display – the first time a machine or machinery dealer didn’t win the best display.
Everyone was talking about it and continues to mention the display. I have worked with sand for years and I was amazed at how great it was and what could be done.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Jennifer and admire her work ethic and presentation.
“A very big thank you for the most amazing sandcastles you and your team created in the city. From the wonderful media exposure to the looks on the children’s faces as they watched in awe – we were simply delighted with the promotion.”
-Kim Walton, Promotions Officer
In 1999, we created a series of sand sculpture for the City of Perth’s Christmas decorations. These included a large sandcastle and a Christmas Tree with lights made from sand.
“It is new, different and has taken our concept of sandcastles into another realm altogether. It is a fabulous promotion, congratulations on a successful and exciting event.”
–Lindsay Lovering, Arts Promotion Manager
In 1998, we created a sand sculpture event which attracted over 2,000 participants to the beach and a further 10,000 people came to see the spectacle. The event was covered by local and national press and TV.
Due to the success of the event a further five events were commissioned for a series of Sand Sculpture Festivals up and down the coast of Western Australia.
“The sand castle was a great success. We are happy to have Jennifer back for more events.”
–Laila Suhail, Project Director
In 2001 Sculpting Sand was commissioned to make a sand castle for the Dubai Shopping Festival DSF. Sponsors logos were carved into the bottom of the sandcastle. Attracting attention, sand castles can be made into giant billboards as logos can be incorporated into the sculpture.
Everyone wants their photograph taken with our awesome sand sculptures, making your logo a permanent backdrop to their happy memories of the visit.
